Dr. Bonnie Fanelli

Dr. Bonnie Fanelli graduated from South Johnston High school in Four Oaks, NC in 1975. Following graduation, Dr. Fanelli received her Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from University of North Carolina- Chapel Hill. She worked at University of South Carolina and University of Delaware before going to Philadelphia College of Optometry. In 1985, Dr. Fanelli graduated from PCO with clinical honors. Bonnie opened her first private practices in Carolina Beach and Leland.

Dr. Jenny Warwick

Dr. Jenny Hines Warwick is a native Wilmingtonian who graduated with honors from Southern College of Optometry in May 2015. Dr. Warwick received her Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry at the University of North Carolina in Wilmington. While at UNCW, Jenny was a member of the UNCW Dance Team where she served as Captain in her senior year. After graduating from UNC-Wilmington, Dr. Warwick moved to Memphis, TN to pursue her doctorate of Optometry. While in her first year of optometry school, Dr. Warwick was nominated by faculty optometrists for Student Ambassador. During her clinical rotations, Dr. Warwick received an award for her clinical excellence at the Southern College of Optometry homecoming.

Dr. Jessica Stephenson

Dr. Jessica Stephenson is a native of Benson, NC where she graduated with honors from South Johnston High School. She attended the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and a minor in Mathematics. In May 2011, she received her Doctorate of Optometry at Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. Dr. Stephenson has been practicing in the Wilmington area since 2012 and has special interests in ocular disease and contact lenses, including scleral contact lens fittings.

About Dr. Fanelli

Dr. Bonnie Fanelli graduated from South Johnston High school in Four Oaks, NC in 1975. She worked at University of South Carolina and University of Delaware before going to Philadelphia College of Optometry. In 1985, Dr. Fanelli graduated from PCO with clinical honors. Bonnie opened her first private practices in Carolina Beach and Leland. She has served Wilmington and surrounding areas for the past thirty years at multiple practice locations.

Bonnie Fanelli has two children: Caroline, born in 1985, and Grayson, born in 1988. Bonnie enjoys singing in the choir and serving as an Elder at Carolina Beach Presbyterian Church. She is also a member of the American Optometric Association, North Carolina State Optometric Society, and Southeastern District

About Dr. Warwick

Dr. Jenny Hines Warwick is a native Wilmingtonian who graduated with honors from Southern College of Optometry in May 2015. Dr. Warwick received her Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry at the University of North Carolina in Wilmington. While at UNCW, Jenny was a member of the UNCW Dance Team where she served as Captain in her senior year. After graduating from UNC-Wilmington, Dr. Warwick moved to Memphis, TN to pursue her doctorate of Optometry. While in her first year of optometry school, Dr. Warwick was nominated by faculty optometrists for Student Ambassador. During her clinical rotations, Dr. Warwick received an award for her clinical excellence at the Southern College of Optometry homecoming. Dr. Warwick completed three externships in 2014-2015, receiving honors pass scores. Her externship rotations included Womack Army Hospital in Fort Bragg, NC and Eye Care Center in Wilmington, NC. Dr. Warwick's final externship was in Memphis, TN at The Eye Center of Southern College of Optometry. In September 2015, Dr. Warwick opened Seashore Eye Associates with Dr. Bonnie Fanelli.

Currently, Jenny is a member of the American Optometric Association, North Carolina State Optometric Society and the Southeastern District. She served as Co-President of the NC Southeastern Optometry District for two years. Dr. Warwick is also partnered with the Veteran's Affairs to provide eye care to our local military veterans.

Jenny loves living in Wilmington with her husband, Rob Warwick, and their son, Banks. She is excited to pursue her dream of offering eye care to those who live in her hometown.

About Dr. Stephenson

Dr. Jessica Stephenson is a native of Benson, NC where she graduated with honors from South Johnston High School. She attended the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and a minor in Mathematics. In May 2011, she received her Doctorate of Optometry at Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. While there she was active in the North Carolina Student Optometric Association, Fellowship of Christian Optometrists, traveled on medical mission trips to Nicaragua and also completed an externship at a refractive surgery co-management center in Denver, CO. She then went on to complete a residency in Primary Eye Care at the Memphis VA Medical Center where she received extensive training in ocular disease, treatment and management.

Dr. Stephenson has been practicing in the Wilmington area since 2012 and has special interests in ocular disease and contact lenses, including scleral contact lens fittings. She is an active member of the American Optometric Association, North Carolina State Society and Southeastern District. Jessica loves spending time with her daughter, Maia, and enjoys being active and on the water as much as possible. She is excited to be the newest member of the Seashore Eye Associates team and looks forward to continuing to provide quality eye care for the people of Wilmington.
